Usability test

Design a user-validated app to manage a connected device.

2022-2023

The project's main objective was to create the most convenient way to manage your daily wet and dry cleaning robot by involving the user in the design process from the start with continuous digital user test iterations.

App design

Approach

  • Conceptualized and successfully delivered a fully developed application
  • Established an efficient Agile Scrum process for the team
  • A Figma-based workflow which enabled the team to track and integrate feedback effectively

Usability test

Approach

The user possesses the ability to fully configure and oversee the device according to their preferences, granting them a seamless and effortless experience throughout the application.

It was very important that the user gained confidence with the product in an early stage so that after a while the used only needed to check in into the cleaning reports every now and then.

This was realized by taking the user by the hand in the beginning. Explaining what all the feature were for, and by giving messages and notification about the status of the application.
